New Life Burns Mortage
Dayton New Life Burns Mortgage
The Dayton New Life church rejoiced as it burned its mortgage. The theme was: "We've Come This Far By Faith." A fitting theme for this small church, that by faith and with God's provision was able to pay off its mortgage of $152,000 in just under 15 years.
The three former pastors, Mikel Moore, Bryant Taylor & Derek Adams preached during the morning service, they encouraged and challenged the church to continue to move forward in faith as they make their church as community church.
In the afternoon, the church celebrated, honored and thanked several city residents who actively assisted them in achieving their goal. The crowning point of the day was when Zenobia Seward, conference treasurer, congratulated the congregation on their achievement, set the mortgage aflame. The congregation erupted in praise. to God Be The Glory!
